Edinburgh Council is delighted to invite you (or a colleague) to join it in a range of events across two days to help shape a collective vision and aspirations for Edinburgh’s future.
Edinburgh’s Summer Summit is a two-day initiative that will take place on the 21st and 22nd June 2018. The first day of the Summit is the National Clean Air Day, which is a UK-wide initiative to promote the messaging around making the air cleaner and healthier for everyone, focusing on the reduction of congestion and pollution caused by traffic. The second day of the summit is to inspire and position Edinburgh as leader in city place-making, in line with the aspirations of the Edinburgh’s 2050 Vision.
Edinburgh Council values your input into our emerging city centre and city-wide strategies and hopes to see you on both days. If you cannot join us please feel free to forward this invitation to a colleague. Edinburgh Council will close off a few city centre roads as part of the event on the 21st of June and will be organising a range of family-friendly events for everyone to enjoy through the day.
