Armadillos on Leith Walk – an unwanted invader?

Arguably, rolling up sleeves and getting the whole length of the Walk finally and speedily done after 10 years of devastation and stop-start repairs – and using up the remaining £5m (?) in the Leith Walk programme pot for an easy-to-read, robust design – should be the focus. And consistent enforcement of basic rules of parking reguations and the Highway Code.

London Road church community buy-out setback

The Scottish Government has decided not to register this scheme (Facebook) in the Register of Community Interests in Land. SG’s reasoning includes:

  • lack of steps with a view to transferring the land
  • lack of satisfaction that it is in the public interest to register this interest in the Register.
