Beer-garden in Leith: Wetherspoon’s open-day
(adapted from an article in the Edinburgh Evening News)
As the site in question is outside LCCC’s area, it is unlikely that LCCC will comment if and when the proposal described below proceeds to a formal planning stage. LCCC also notes how a similar application for the same site was handled in 2018.
J D Wetherspoon is hoping to transform a redundant piece of land on Duke Street into an outdoor drinking space for the Foot of the Walk, which runs behind the frontage of the site.
What: A drop-in event where the project team will be on hand to provide more information about the proposals and answer any questions.
Where: Foot Of The Walk pub
When: Thursday 16 January, 3pm until 8pm
