LCCC December meeting cancelled
Due to the unavailability of a programmed speaker and the expectation of a low turnout so close to Christmas, LCCC have decided to cancel the meeting on 21 December.
The next meeting will be on 18 January 2016.
An update on outstanding and ongoing LCCC business will be published on this website later this week.

filling in the memory pot-holes
With thanks to Alan Dean of Edinburgh Council, we are filling in gaps in our record of Leith Programme communications from Edinburgh Council. We look forward to the end of the process – the completion of these works, and safety to drive, cycle, walk and use Leith Walk as it should be.
Potential changes to ward boundaries – public consultation
(Adapted from an email from the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland.
This does not affect CC boundaries – these are set by Local Authorites such as Edinburgh Council. However, it might affect the Edinburgh Councillors who are ex-officio CC members.)
The Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland published its proposals for ward boundaries, for each of Scotland’s 32 councils, for public consultation on 30 July 2015.
The closing date for the public consultation is Thursday 22 October 2015.
Comments on the proposals can be submitted through the Commission’s consultation portal website, by email, or in writing to Thistle House, 91 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD..
Further information regarding the reviews is available online.
Should you require further information, please telephone 0131 538 7510 for assistance.
(There are some interesting mis-matches between CC areas and Edinburgh Council wards.)
