LCCC committee convenors etc appointed

At Leith Central CC’s first post-election meeting (Monday 21 October 2019), the following convenors, representatives and committee-members were agreed:

Planning

  • Convenor: Pierre Foressier
  • Other members: Nick Gardner and John Wilkinson

Transport and clean streets

  • Convenor: TBC
  • Other members: TBC
  • Harald Tobermann and Charlotte Encombe will continue to represent LCCC at Community Councils Together on Trams, which meets with CEC’s trams team towards the end of each month.

Parks and green spaces

  • Convenor: Nick Gardner
  • Other members: TBC

Licensing

Decisions were held over until LCCC’s November 2019 meeting. Hence

LCCC election results

Elected, coopted and local-interest-group representative members

At the meeting of LCCC on 21 October, the following were declared elected or *co-opted as members of Leith Central Community Council:

Hence LCCC has space for 4 co-opted members.

No local interest groups (LIGs) were registered as wishing to be represented on LCCC.

It also has space for 8 members representing local interest groups operating in its area.
