Disabled parking spaces

Edinburgh Council proposes to introduce disabled parking spaces on Albert Street, Firrhill Drive and Tytler Gardens, and to remove disabled parking spaces on Claverhouse Drive, Lammermoor Terrace and Rosebank Grove. Click the graphic to download the plans: 15_35A Plans

Details of the draft order and related documents can be viewed 9:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, from 20/5/16 to 10/6/16 at City Chambers reception or online at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders or www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

Objectors must state their reasons in writing with reference TRO/15/35a to Traffic Orders, City Chambers, High St, Edinburgh, EH1 1YJ, not later than 10/6/16.

Friends of Pilrig Park public meeting: Monday 11 April

The Friends of Pilrig Park will be holding a public meeting on Monday, 11th April from 6.00-7.30pm at the McDonald Road Library. As always, FoPP is keen to hear your ideas and suggestions about how to continue to improve the park, so please do come along.

Over the last few months FoPP received a lot of comments about the state of the small play park (in particular since the slide was removed after it was deemed unsafe by City of Edinburgh Council). The Council have since said that they will not be replacing this equipment, so it seems unlikely that any further money will be spent on upgrading the play park in the near future.
