Friends of Pilrig Park public meeting: Monday 11 April

The Friends of Pilrig Park will be holding a public meeting on Monday, 11th April from 6.00-7.30pm at the McDonald Road Library. As always, FoPP is keen to hear your ideas and suggestions about how to continue to improve the park, so please do come along.

Over the last few months FoPP received a lot of comments about the state of the small play park (in particular since the slide was removed after it was deemed unsafe by City of Edinburgh Council). The Council have since said that they will not be replacing this equipment, so it seems unlikely that any further money will be spent on upgrading the play park in the near future. The Friends of Pilrig Park are holding a tidy-up from 10.00am – 12.00pm on Sunday 21st February.  If you are free please come along.  It would be great to see you there and you can join in for as little or as long as you want, depending on how much time you have to spare.
