Community Council development and support programme

In response to feedback from community councillors a Development and Support programme has been established.  To date two sessions on Neighbourhood Partnerships and Community Engagement have been held and well received by the community councillors attending.  The other sessions are listed below.

This session is targeted on community councillors new to the planning process and is a repeat of a session held in 2014. 29 September 2015

Social Media
Saturday 21 November
10 – 4 pm
MacDonald Road Library, Leith
The morning will give an understanding of how to use social media to engage. The afternoon will be a hands-on surgery. 6 November 2015
How the Council works
Tuesday 1 December

How to apply for a grant workshop

This session will provide CCs with help to improve their skills in preparing grant applications. 13 January 2016
