This report to Edinburgh Council’s Transport and Environment committee includes tables showing enforcement requirements for various streets and schools. It would be interesting to find out whether this translates into reality in Leith Walk after 7 years of parking free-for-all.

Edinburgh Council is committed to creating a better, safer Edinburgh and that’s why on 13 January 2015 Councillors approved a new speed limit network for Edinburgh after three years of consultation and research.

New parking/loading/unloading arrangements will come into effect on 2 March 2015 in the immediate area north of the Iona/Pilrig Street junction of Leith Walk in which footway and carriageway renewal work has recently been completed.
