(Adapted from an email from Edinburgh Council)
Funds are available in each of the three Neighbourhood Partnership Community Grants Funds for the South East Locality. These funds will be available until the end of March 2018. The Neighbourhood Partnership can award grants of up to £5,000: organisations and groups can use these for local community activity that supports the work of the Partnership and/or the Locality Improvement Plan.
For information on the process and an application form, please visit:

- South Central Neighbourhood Partnership – https://www.edinburghnp.org.uk/neighbourhood-partnerships/south-central/about/community-grants-information/
- Liberton Gilmerton Neighbourhood Partnership – https://www.edinburghnp.org.uk/neighbourhood-partnerships/liberton-and-gilmerton/about/community-grants-information/
Applications will need to be received and approved by the end of March. They can be approved by the Partnership board outwith their designated quarterly meeting. Grants are expected to be spent in full within 6 months of the funds being received by you. Exceptions to that can be granted by the board if the circumstances warrant it.
Your organisation or group does not have to be based in the Neighbourhood Partnership area in which you might want to apply to. However you would need to demonstrate how your project would benefit the local community of that partnership area. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential application then please do not hesitate to contact Andrew Gallacher (contact details below).
