We would also like to make you aware of the Community Council Elections that will take place this year on the 2nd of October.  If you are interested in joining Leith Central Community Council and/or are interested in putting yourself forward for one of the offices, you will need to register this by the 23rd of September 2013.  For now though, have a look at the Election Timetable.  We will put lots more information on the web site as it becomes available.

The Community Council is made up of local people who have the support of at least two of their neighbours and are willing to regularly attend the monthly meetings.  If you would like to become a Community Council member, you can find more information here.

The dates for next year are:   25 February, 25 March, 22 April, 27 May (AGM), 24 June, 26 August, 23 September, 28 October, 25 November, 16 December 2013.
