Proposed bus lanes time-changes

Proposed amendments to permitted vehicles (experimental order)

In accordance with the terms of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999, I write to inform you that the City of Edinburgh Council proposes to advertise Traffic Regulation Orders which will change the times of operation to 7:30am to 9:30am and 4:00pm to 6:30pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive on all bus lanes, excluding those at bus gates, contra flow bus lanes and 24 hour bus lanes.

The bus lanes affected are indicated on the attached plan and a copy of the street notice is herewith attached for your information. Further information is available on the Council website www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders or at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk.

Should you wish to submit an objection to the proposal, please do so by 18 February 2015 quoting the notice reference number ETRO/14/38B.

The council proposes to make an experimental order under the road traffic regulation act 1984 as amended to change the times of operation on all the bus lanes listed below to 07:30 – 09:30 and 16:00 – 18:30, Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

Objectors must state their reasons in writing, with reference ETRO/14/38b to Traffic Orders, Services for Communities, City Chambers, High St, Edinburgh, EH1 1YJ, not later than 18/02/15.
